Done in flow chart 5! Oh Yeah! And its our christmas party!
The purpose of a while loop is to execute a statement or code block repeatedly as long as expression is true. Once expression becomes false, the loop will be exited.
Following example illustrates a basic while loop:
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var count = 0;
document.write("Starting Loop" + "<br />");
while (count < 10){
document.write("Current Count : " + count + "<br />");
count++;
}
document.write("Loop stopped!");
//-->
</script>
|
This will produce following result:
Starting Loop
Current Count : 0
Current Count : 1
Current Count : 2
Current Count : 3
Current Count : 4
Current Count : 5
Current Count : 6
Current Count : 7
Current Count : 8
Current Count : 9
Loop stopped!
That's all!

Week 28: December 8-12 Applying Flow Charts
Hi!
Here are some examples on our flow charts..

Each symbol has its own function within the program. Each symbol represents a piece of the code written for the program. The Start/End symbol can be used to represent either the beginning or ending of a program. The symbol for Process allows you to show how the program is functioning, like when you need the program to calculate two numbers or even analyze the information.
There are many other symbols frequently used in flowcharts. The Decision symbol is used for things like If Statements, where you must choose an option based on a specified criteria. A decision question may be something as simple as If the grade is at least 70 then send out the messagePassing to the screen. Otherwise, send Failing to the screen.

Week 27: December 1-5 JavaScript 4
Hi!
Well, we just continued typing and busy making flow charts.
Here are some examples of JavaScript 4...

Looping statements are used to run the same block of code a specified number of times.
Well, we just continued typing and busy making flow charts.
Here are some examples of JavaScript 4...
Looping Statements
In VBScript we have four looping statements:
- For...Next statement - runs code a specified number of times
- For Each...Next statement - runs code for each item in a collection or each element of an array
- Do...Loop statement - loops while or until a condition is true
- While...Wend statement - Do not use it - use the Do...Loop statement instead
The Nested Loops operator performs the inner join, left outer join, left semi join, and left anti semi join logical operations.
Nested loops joins perform a search on the inner table for each row of the outer table, typically using an index. Microsoft SQL Server decides, based on anticipated costs, whether to sort the outer input in order to improve locality of the searches on the index over the inner input.
Any rows that satisfy the (optional) predicate in the Argument column are returned as applicable, based on the logical operation being performed.
Nested Loops is a physical operator.

What are Flow Charts?
A flowchart is an easy to understand diagram of any process that uses simple graphics to represent a beginning, an end, and the different stages that follow a logical order. Each step in the process is represented by a unique symbol with a brief label of the process step. The flowchart symbols are linked together with arrows showing the direction of the process flow.

Basic Flowchart Symbols
For most flowcharts, these five basic symbols are all you will need.
Taken from
http://www.smartdraw.com/articles/flowchart/how-flowcharts-are-used.htm
Flowcharts may contain other symbols, such as connectors, usually represented as circles, to represent converging paths in the flow chart. Circles will have more than one arrow coming into them but only one going out. Some flow charts may just have an arrow point to another arrow instead. These are useful to represent an iterative process (in Computer Science this is called a loop).
A loop may, for example, consist of a connector where control first enters, processing steps, a conditional with one arrow exiting the loop, and one going back to the connector. Off-page connectors are often used to signify a connection to a (part of a) process held on another sheet or screen.

Week 25: November 17-21 : Inequitable!
Hi!
On monday, we had just began our JavaScript 4 and Sir gave us a js3quiz for the recap of JavaScript 3. We will show what we had learned. And it works! I did it! I've got 15 hehe. For being honest, I don't know what would I do. I've just type what I know at least I learned a little from it.
On Wednesday, we don't have classes because of the NCAE of third year. Even though we don't have classes, we were in Complex practicing a given practicum by our Mapeh teacher.After that, we've prepared ourselves for the Jamboree tomorrow. OMG! I'm so excited!
On thursday, I went to school very early because we must perform our practicum. Unfortunately, we did'nt performed on that day because Ma'am did'nt come on the right time. So, its not our fault.
On Friday, it was the opening program of Jamborette. And we did many activities...

Week 24: November 10-14 : I Learned More!
Hi!
Yes! We're done in JavaScript 3. Sir started to discussed on Boolean. By the way, what is Boolean in JavaScript? A Boolean value is either true or false.
Note: Values of 1 and 0 are considered Boolean values in JavaScript.

After that, we had prejs2quiz and only Jessa got it. In short, I don't know what to do and I don't know what to apply. But now, I knew it! It was very easy if you listened carefully.
Even though there was no electricity at school, the class is still continuous. We had a quiz about the JavaScript 3 and I got 13 out of 25. It's okay because I learned something like, the "typeof" operator in JavaScript allows you to probe the data type of its operand, such as whether a variable is string, numeric, or even undefined.
On Friday, we fixed our prejs2quiz with the helped of Jessa. Yehey! I did it!

Week 23: November 3-7: I knew it!
Hi!
Oh! We celebrated the Intramurals 2014. And on Monday, Sir discussed about the JavaScript 3.
Here are examples...
Conditional Operator
JavaScript also contains a conditional operator that assigns a value to a variable based on some condition.
It is ok to use conditional operators like a statement like so?
Logical OR Operator
This function determines if the first character in the specified string is a number. If it is, it parses the string until it reaches the end of the number, and returns the number as a number, not as a string.
(x == y) ? alert("yo!") : alert("meh!");
Or is it more correct to use it to assign a value like so?
z = (x == y) ? "yo!" : "meh!";
Logical OR Operator
Logical operators are used to determine the logic between variables or values.
Given that x=6 and y=3, the table below explains the logical operators:
| Operator | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| && | and | (x < 10 && y > 1) is true |
| || | or | (x == 5 || y == 5) is false |
| ! | not | !(x == y) is true |
Using Parse Float() Function
The parseFloat() function parses a string and returns a floating point number.
This function determines if the first character in the specified string is a number. If it is, it parses the string until it reaches the end of the number, and returns the number as a number, not as a string.
Note: Only the first number in the string is returned!
Note: Leading and trailing spaces are allowed.
Note: If the first character cannot be converted to a number, parseFloat() returns NaN.

Week 22: October 27-31 Got Trouble!
Hi!
We don't have class in TLE on monday because Sir was not around. And on tuesday, Sir gave us a flowchart-our online quiz. Oh! no! I don't know what to do! So after the classes this afternoon, I've tried to work on it but I failed to do it. On Wednesday after our lunch, we went to netzone and we tried again to work on it but the result was the same. When we went back to the campus, there was an incident happemed! The IV-Sampaguita planned to help Mirjana on her creative costume in their house. So, the quiz in TLE had been posponed on thursday! Yehey! Sadly, I did'nt even went to help Mirjana:( Sorry Mirjana and I will pray you.:)
On thursday, supposed to be our class this afternoon was Values but we had been class in TLE. We did our quiz in JavaScript. And I got it! Yehey! For the first time of my life I've got the quiz.! While on the next day, we don't have classes.!:)

Week 20: October 13-17 Pressured!
Hi.
On Monday, I checked the blogs of all IV-Sampaguita except me. Actually, the last submission was yesterday and I did'nt passed it on time because of weak internet signal so I just postponed it tomorrow. But before I checked the blogs, I organized my blog to make it presentable and nice. We also checked our folders and some of the comments were Okay. On tuesday, we started typing JavaScript 3, it was really misleading. ~_^#
And it's our 2nd periodic exam! I flinched just a little bit. You know, the exam was difficult for me but for the others not. Compared to our former exam, I've increased at least one. I've got 15 out of 30. haha. I've improved just a little bit. Its just okay at least I've tried my best and I wanted to improve more on my skills and others.
And one thing I just remembered based on the test questions given like using the confirm dialog box . If the user clicks "Cancel", the box returns false. While in using the prompt box, If the user clicks "Cancel" the box returns null. Those are the difference of the confirm box and prompt box method. I admit I did'nt get it maybe because of time pressure and confuse.
So it's time to say goodbye on 2nd grading and say hello on 3rd grading.:)

Hi.
As usual we made another activity again based on our past lessons. So that's it! I did'nt get it again, as always. But I learned a little, even though I did'nt made our activity.:)
One thing more, I have something to share on you readers. Listening is very important especially on during class hours. I learned that we should listen carefully to the speakers in order to learn and how to respect them. There's so much that you can learned when you just listen. This lessons I've learned on our activity. :)

Hi!
There are many events that we've celebrate like Cosplay, Foundation Day Anniversary, History Week and World's Teacher's Day. Wednesday, we had the Foundation day and opening of History week. Haist, we joined the contest last thursday with Elizabeth and Syrell. We just tried our best and even though we did'nt won the contest at least we enjoyed and we learned something from it.
In Friday, it is World's Teacher's Day with a theme, " My Teacher My Hero". Our teacher is our second parent in our lives. They are patient and willing to teach us. They are light when we are in the darkness. So that I'm very thankful to all the teachers in the world especially to our ICT teacher Mr. Richard Peralta. Thank you Sir for the knowledge you shared to us.

And the Quiz bee in Science had been removed this week. I'm very shocked because I don't know what to answer but the truth is I wanted to participate in the quiz bee. So I tried my best and it works! I got the 4th place. Thanks God. Improvement!

And here is our online quiz. I felt nervous and I don't know how to start it and how to end it. But I got at least 35 points in this kind of online quiz. Its okay because I've learned a lot of it. Thank you.

JavaScript Variables:
Like many other programming languages, JavaScript has variables. Variables can be thought of as named containers. You can place data into these containers and then refer to the data simply by naming the container.

Data Types
| TYPE | EXAMPLE |
| Numbers | Any number, such as 17, 21, or 54e7 |
| Strings | "Greetings!" or "Fun" |
| Boolean | Either true or false |
| Null | A special keyword for exactly that – the null value (that is, nothing) |
- Numbers - are values that can be processed and calculated. You don't enclose them in quotation marks. The numbers can be either positive or negative.
- Strings - are a series of letters and numbers enclosed in quotation marks. JavaScript uses the string literally; it doesn't process it. You'll use strings for text you want displayed or values you want passed along.
- Boolean (true/false) - lets you evaluate whether a condition meets or does not meet specified criteria.
- Null - is an empty value. null is not the same as 0 -- 0 is a real, calculable number, whereas null is the absence of any value.

Done in flow chart 5! Oh Yeah! And its our christmas party!
The purpose of a while loop is to execute a statement or code block repeatedly as long as expression is true. Once expression becomes false, the loop will be exited.
Following example illustrates a basic while loop:
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var count = 0;
document.write("Starting Loop" + "<br />");
while (count < 10){
document.write("Current Count : " + count + "<br />");
count++;
}
document.write("Loop stopped!");
//-->
</script>
|
This will produce following result:
Starting Loop
Current Count : 0
Current Count : 1
Current Count : 2
Current Count : 3
Current Count : 4
Current Count : 5
Current Count : 6
Current Count : 7
Current Count : 8
Current Count : 9
Loop stopped!
That's all!

A decision question may be something as simple as If the grade is at least 70 then send out the messagePassing to the screen. Otherwise, send Failing to the screen.Taken from: http://education-portal.com/academy/lesson/flowchart-symbols-in-programming-definition-functions-examples.html#lesson

Yehey! I did it!

Hi!

Conditional Operator
JavaScript also contains a conditional operator that assigns a value to a variable based on some condition.
It is ok to use conditional operators like a statement like so?
(x == y) ? alert("yo!") : alert("meh!");
Or is it more correct to use it to assign a value like so?
z = (x == y) ? "yo!" : "meh!";
Logical OR Operator
Logical operators are used to determine the logic between variables or values.
Given that x=6 and y=3, the table below explains the logical operators:
| Operator | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| && | and | (x < 10 && y > 1) is true |
| || | or | (x == 5 || y == 5) is false |
| ! | not | !(x == y) is true |
Using Parse Float() Function

Hi!
Yeah! It's our sembreak!
Even though we had no class this week, we still busy because of.... first, we've passed our outputs in Araling Panlipunan like SNJ, notebook, and others. Second, I need to finish my Pagsusuring Pampelikula in Filipino.

I Salute all the teachers!

Hi!
Haist. We don't had regular class this week again because of the events that has been removed causes by the one week no classes. Like the cosplay contest, we're very busy in this kind of contest. And the Quiz bee in Science had been removed this week. I'm very shocked because I don't know what to answer but the truth is I wanted to participate in the quiz bee. So I tried my best and it works! I got the 4th place. Thanks God. Improvement!

Here at home with my siblings and with my mother. As "Mario" moves, several areas have been placed under state of calamity as tropical storm "Mario" pounds parts of Luzon. Officials have declared a state of calamity in Dagupan, Pangasinan and even Calasiao, where heavy flooding has been reported. So we don't had classes this week. How sad? :(

Question: How do I display a user prompt from JavaScript?
Answer: To display a user prompt dialog, use the JavaScript
prompt() method:
Returned Value:
The value returned by
The value returned by
prompt depends on what exactly the user does with the dialog. If the user types something and then clicks OK or presses Enter, the prompt method returns the user input string. If the user clicks OK or presses Enter without typing anything into the prompt dialog, the method returns the suggested input, as specified in the second argument passed to prompt. If the user dismisses the dialog (e.g. by clicking Cancel or pressing Esc), then in most browsers the prompt method returns null.

Hi..
Before we had a quiz, we were typing the JavaScript 2. And we've just surprise, I also think that Sir is kidding but he's not. Sir arranged our sits and he secured no cheats inside the classroom. I'm glad at least I've got 10 out of 20. haha

Hi!
We discussed about the JavaScript and we did some activity.

2 .prompt()
3. confirm()
